Strong by Sixty - Counting down from my 50th birthday:

Month 87 - February 2015...

Month 88 - January 2015...  Starting stats:  BP: 123/71; HR: 77. After the December layoff I ventured back into Simple and Sinister.  The 32kg was a bit agressive and so I settled back into the 28kg.  The sessions were more invigorating and less draining. It wasn't a consistant month, it was almost like I was still overcoming the inertia from my Christmas lay off.  Halfway through the month I pulled a muscle over my right ribs making it tough, but not impossible, to do the TGU's. I felt it on the right armed swings a bit too.  I'm not sure how I pulled it, just that I did.  I also bought a concept2 rower so I could add in some raw cardio.  The plan for rowing atm is to grove the movement without doing anything too stupid, just cool downs and 20-30 minute efforts at <70 comment-70--="" heart="" max="" rate.="">

Month 89 - December 2014...  Lame effort at the end of 2014.  Only five training sessions.  The season got busy and then I got lazy.

Month 90 - November 2014... One quarter of the way to sixty.  Oh well, a slow start is better than no start.  I continued with Pavel's Simple and Sinister program.  I really like this program.  I leveled up to 32 kg's in both lifts but don't own them yet.  Perhaps I'll reach the 'simple' goal in December.

Month 91 - October 2014... On the one hand I feel like I wasted a lot of time, on the other hand - I know what happened. December 2012 my career took a huge left hand turn.  Work got incredibly busy(er) and more stressful.  August of this year I made a job change and things look hopeful towards getting back on track.  I started doing Pavel's Simple and Sinister program late this month.  Mainly focusing on the swings....13 Days using both/either 20 kg's and 24 kg's and 4 Days of TGU's with the 20 kg bell.  This is another new beginning....hopefully, I can keep with the program.

Month 112 - January 2013… The new beginning.

Month 115 - October 2012...OK.  I suck.  Really, work is sucking the life out of me.  I get home exhausted and find myself taking naps right after talking with KT and before I head downstairs only to wake up too late to do anything.

Month 120 - June 2012... Traveled for two weeks. Some pushups, BW Bulgarian Split Squats, and Snatch work (20kg x 5/5, 16kg 10/10) x 5. Knee pain and mobility are the focus
